Generations of baking – from our kitchen to yours. THE COOKIE PARTY opened it’s doors in November of 2007. However it’s roots were born generations ago. As a child growing up, I was my mother’s little helper in the kitchen. Watching, learning, mixing and sprinkling while preparing her recipes for a house full of family and friends to enjoy over 40 years of birthdays, holidays and Sunday dinners. It was always so exciting and these shared times were always special to me. When I became a wife and had my own children, I carried on these traditions. My two little ones loved helping me mix the dough, add ingredients and shape and bake the cookies, with such anticipation to begin icing and decorating them. I could see the wonderment in their eyes, reminiscent of my own with my mother. They were so proud of creating something we would all enjoy. Having small children, and hosting my own parties – as well as attending other childrens’ parties – I realized that there was nothing available where children could participate, learn and interact in a group environment to provide the same special feeling. As part of the concept, it was important to me to create a fun, whimsical party environment where children would gather with their friends to create baked goods, play games and share lunch for a memorable birthday or play date. As a mom, I wanted the package to be all-inclusive, so the parents too could enjoy the experience, without the stress and hassle of planning, preparing and hosting the event. We have incorporated into the space a lounge where parents can relax and socialize knowing their children are steps away in a safe, supervised environment. While the COOKIE PARTY experience is geared towards children, we also provide a specialty bakery that showcases an assortment of our family recipes. They are made daily from fresh, natural ingredients and are without any preservatives. We open our kitchen to you, and will work with you to create and personalize any of your special occasion, birthday, or holiday needs to compliment your event.
